Dr. Kacy D. Wonder
Dr. Kacy Wonder became a part of the Northeast, Camden, and Orangeburg Oral Surgery team in July 2023. She is originally from Reading, Pennsylvania, and moved to South Carolina shortly after college when her father, Dr. Jeffrey Wonder, moved his dental practice from Reading, PA to Bluffton, SC.
Dr. Wonder graduated from Messiah University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She attended Dental School at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, graduating Summa Cum Laude. During her academic journey, she received the Dr. William S. Kramer Award for Excellence and was selected as a Hinman Dental Society scholar. Additionally, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Dental Society. In June 2023, she completed her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina.
She is happily married to her husband, Dr. Drew Edwards, a practicing general dentist in the Columbia Metropolitan Area. In her free time, she enjoys the fine arts, particularly embroidery, acrylic painting, and watercolors. But her favorite free time activity is spending time with her adorable mixed breed dog, Penny.
